Steve Laux Building Designs was provided with an uncompromising design brief to create a contemporary, minimalist, and moderately sized residence using materials that would reflect its surrounds. Importance was placed on simplifying the aesthetics of the built form, whilst anchoring it to the landscape with the clever use of a rammed earth wall.
An uncompromising client brief to maximise north and south glazing to the living areas of the home was achieved by the careful selection of glazing and framing suites without compromising the passive solar performance of the home. A truly wonderful result.
